Happy New Year!
Wow! Can you believe it, we are in 2023!! I know they say times flies, but goodness!
Naturally that it's a new year we are supposed to celebrate & make new resolutions or goals! And or course I have those friends that are like if I don't make resolutions then I won't be disappointed at the end of the year....
SO let's just chat for a minute & look & see what that really looks like...
I remember hearing the quote if you don't write it down a goal it is just a wish! Well heck I don't want just wishes, I want results & abundance!
Let me give you just a few tips/goals of mine for this year....
1. Be intentional!
I am going to be intentional with my time... Getting up before my kids & getting some business tasks done before we start breakfast & homeschooling. And honestly only being the 3rd day in I have been doing really good working on my businesses! I just finished this 15day training course & it has really helped me understand how much easier it could be!
2. Set realistic Goals/Expectations/Intentions!
Don't get caught up in the hustle and bustle of life. Set goals that work for you & your family, not what John Jones is doing over there... Just like my counselor reminded me to pick 3-5 tasks that need to get done each day & if you don't get it all done, roll it over to the next! You mean I don't have to do laundry, vacuum, wash clothes, do dishes, cook, homeschool, clean bathrooms, work on my business, reorganize all in one day? 🤣
NOpe, pick 3-5 things a day & get it done! Start simple, make your bed every morning! Now this doesn't mean don't challenge yourself to grow, but set realistic goals for YOU!
3. Heal the Hurt
Yep, let's do some healing this year! It's time for you to let _________ go! I know healing means you will have to bring up what/who hurt you, but I promise you, letting go will help you not only physically but mentally! Did you know that anger gets stored in the liver? Did you know a lot of alcoholics are angry? And if you are loving/flushing out that liver, it's just getting stored & causing it to fail? So, I'll let you sit there & think about that for a minute!
So where do we start? Personally, I would get in with a good counselor! I have had a wonderful experience with Better Help. They paired me with this wonderful lady who has helped me through my panic attacks, grief, anxiety, and some false beliefs!
If that isn't just for you, then start simple, but on some soothing music, and just breathe, cry, release! I would add in some emotional oils like release, present time, frankincense, gratitude, or grounding, - they will help you let your ego down to start the healing process! (In my opinion of course)
And one last thought on healing ( i have lots more) ... But forgiving someone doesn't mean you have to let them back in your life! 😉 (yes even family) ....

Wow this year has flown by! Can you believe it is almost Christmas? Hope you have been good so Santa can visit you! 🎅🏽
If you are like us we tend to travel during the Holiday season at least 1 or 2 times... and our bodies need some extra support because well it's the Holidays and we tend to enjoy all the foods & activities! So let's get to 4 easy tips to help your enjoy the season:
1. Enzymes!!! They help break down your food so they are different than probiotics. Why do we need enzymes? Because I enjoy eating sweet potatoes with extra marshmallows, and extra hot rolls......
To add extra digestive support I make sure I have digize or tummygize on hand too... Personally, I apply the Digize on my tummy & rub clockwise. It helps me have a Movement! 😉
2. Breathe! Yep I said it, Breathe! Traveling, buying gifts, cleaning house, cooking food, and entertaining can be so draining, so take a moment and just breathe! Take 4 deep breaths hold it & then breathe out 4 counts! IF you want to enhance it open up your frankincense or stress away & breathe it in for the 4 counts. You can literally feel your body start relaxing!
3. Take time to rest! Traveling & sleeping in bed that isn't your own sometimes causes not the greatest sleep. If you are able grab your diffuser & travel with it. I like putting a combo of lavender & thieves or sleepyize with thieves in the diffuser. It helps me rest & also helps with my immune system. We all know that stress can lower your immune system & we don't need that while we are traveling or being around lots of people. And I will just say it, "Take that nap!" Whether you are hosting or traveling if you feel like your body needs a quick nap, then do it! Listen to your body!

You are probably wondering what is Towel Stripping?
NO, its anyone stripping with just a towel...... 🤣🤣🤣
It's about giving your towel some extra love & hopefully extending the life of your towels. On average the life span of a towel is about 2-5years. I know who replaces their towels that often? I mean I have stayed with some friends & family that have towels that are well over that 5-year mark......
So, if you are one of "those" people, lol, let me show you an easy way to help extend the life.
(Full disclaimer, I am one of those people! 😉)
So what is Towel Stripping?
Towel stripping at large is the process of removing buildup—that is, residue from detergents and softeners, minerals from hard water, oil, dirt, and bacteria, among other icky things—from your textiles. Throwing your towels in the washer won't simply cut it.
* Side note you can also strip other textiles, but today we are just talking towels.
Why Should I do this?
Have you ever smelled your towels & are like man they are funky? Or they just smell off? Or maybe they just don't dry your body off as well? Maybe you have hard water? Or you use a fabric softener or dryer sheets?
If you answered yes to any of the questions above, then keep reading & Let's GET STRIPPING....... towel stripping that is!
The Process
What you need:
Clean towels ( go ahead & run them through your cycle) they can stay either wet or dry...
Laundry Detergent
Thieves Fruit & Veggie Soak
Digize Essential Oil
Thieves Cleaner
* Optional, but preferred Washing Soda
Grab the products listed here: Laundry Stripping Kit
Start by Filling your Tub with HOT water, then I poured in 3 Capfuls of Thieves Cleaner, 1/4 of capful of Thieves detergent, 1 Capful of Thieves Fruit & Veggie Soak, and 15 drops of Digize essential oil.
(This time around I didn't have any washing soda, and didn't feel like making any, so I didn't add, but if you were to use, I would add in 1/4 cup of washing soda)
Next, I added in my towels making sure they all were soaking in the water. Set a timer for 1.5 hours came back & stirred the towels around. The stirring will help break up that buildup. After rinsing out your towels, but them back in your washer for a quick rinse only!
Throw them in the dryer (NO dryer sheets!!- thats another subject we have to talk about...☠)
And BAM!!!! You have some FRESH TOWELS!!!!!
Now let me see your dirty water!!! It's gross yet so satisfying right!🤢 But really just drain out your tub & give it a clean with the thieves cleaner before taking your next shower!

You are probably asking why are we talking about the lymphatic system? Well because if you are like me, I had some narly things going on with my body & I wasn't sure what was going until, yep you called it I started googling! 😂
So, let's just put it out there I'm not a doctor & I'm not diagnosing/treating you, I am a mom that has been researching!
What is Your Lymphatic System?
